Kindred Pines Properties is a short term rental company based in the Northeast. The owners, Kelly and Ben, pour love and intention into every detail of their properties to make them the ultimate family getaways. They create spaces where large groups come together and make memories.

ABOUT THE BRANDING:

The goal for the Kindred Pines logo suite was to create something balanced, elevated, welcoming, and deeply rooted in nature. At the heart of the brand symbol are tree rings, with each layer representing another memory made and another chapter added to the story of the property. The pine branch represents resilience, strength, and hope—qualities inspired by the pine tree’s ability to endure every season while remaining green and full of life. This symbolism also beautifully connects back to the mission behind Kindred Pines and the owners’ non-profit, The GiGi Project.

The branch itself offers another subtle connection to family. With its outstretched needles and pine cone, it becomes a nod to a family tree and the meaning behind the word “kindred”—the connection we feel when surrounded by the people we love in a place filled with adventure and memories.

The primary serif typeface brings personality and softness to the identity. Its slightly imperfect edges and subtle details feel natural and welcoming while still remaining timeless and elevated, complementing the hand-drawn quality of the brand symbol. A script accent font adds movement, energy, and an extra layer of warmth.
